To update the information above - Apple has now introduced an extension for Chrome (or Edge Chromium) which allows you to use passwords saved in Safari on your iPad or iPhone on Windows devices. KeePass is another alternative but there seem to be almost no free IOS KeePass clients. LastPass seems to work OK on Apple devices and is cross-platform. So if you, for example, use a Windows PC or laptop as well as Apple devices then you can't access 'Keychain' on the Windows device. The negative with 'Keychain' is it is not accessible AT ALL from non-Apple devices. The plus with 'Keychain' is it works seamlessly across Apple devices. MacOS comes with an integrated password manager called "Keychain". Can anyone please recommend a secure way of storjng passwords etc on Apple devices?
